New Zinc.TV brings Internet TV virtually anywhere, even Tablets!

Zinc.TV has moved to the "cloud"! Now, you no longer have to download the client. You just log in to Zinc.TV with your account and all your shows are there. This means you could watch Zinc.TV form your tablet now! This very convenient and just plain cool. I gave it a quick run and the new web based user interface is fast and snappy. This is a nice improvement for Zinc.TV, this opens up a whole new world...

Zinc.TV's (www.zinc.tv) new, lightweight interface replaces the PC download application, so you can use your tablet, PC, TV, or mobile phone to find it, manage it, and watch it-- no matter where you are or what you’re using.

Zinc.TV also kept the “leanback” interface, so you can find what you’re looking for without leaving the couch. Both the Web and leanback interfaces are synchronized, so you can use your mobile device as a TV remote -- only Zinc.TV does this! Very cool..

Check it out now – you can use your existing Zinc login, but note that your Favorites and Q will need updating. Also keep your eyes open because new things are still on the way.

Tip: If you browse from inside PC Zinc or Firefox with the Zinc plug-in installed, you will enjoy the same auto full-screen and other capabilities that you’re used to in PC Zinc. The Zinc team plans to update the new Zinc to include these features. Viewing Netflix on the new interface is somewhat limited now, it only shows the new movies, but I suspect the folks at Zinc will be adding new features along the way so we will have to wait and see what happens there. However I am exited about the new Zinc.TV cloud concept.

It also appears to get the automatic full screen mode you must still use the Zinc Firefox plug-in. However, if using a different browser you can press F11 to get full screen. I really like this new version of Zinc.TV, and best of all it's still free.

Nice job Zinc Team!
